Gold in the Sky and on the Ground
Gold can be seen in the sky on a festive 4th of July night, but unbeknownst to most, actual gold can be uncovered the day after by those equipped with Metal Detectors.
According to columnist Laylan Connelly, on July 5th treasure hunters congregate at Huntington Beach armed with metal detectors, and they’re finding more than sea shells.
Reports of gold coins, while uncommon, have been made by post 4th of July beachcombers.
